Get the best on both sides of the border: in Finland you visit Inari with its Sami culture and join a traditional reindeer safari. In Norway you will explore a spectacular frozen fjord on a King Crab safari and visit the snowhotel.

Package Description

DAY 1

Individual arrival in Inari and check in at Hotel Inari. Pick up at hotel 13.30 for activity.

Activity: Traditional reindeer sleigh ride
Take a step back in time as you sit in a wooden sleigh gently pulled by a reindeer. Listen to the silence of the snowy forest and expe- rience the old traditional Sámi way of travelling. There will be a chance to warm up by the fire with hot juice before being transferred back to the village. 15.00 back at hotel.

Independent visit to Sámi museum & Nature centre Siida. Overnight stay in Hotel Inari.
DAY 2

Breakfast. 08.00 Pick up at hotel and transfer to Kirkenes, arrival time at hotel 11.15.

Pick up at hotel 13.00 for activity.

Activity: King Crab safari incl. meal
King Crab Safari by snowmobile sledge on the fjord ice. King Crab catch and delicious king crab meal will be served on this tour. This is your chance to catch, learn how to cook, and most importantly eat this mysterious creature. The journey will culminate in a warm, rustic farmhouse restaurant by the fjord, where you will enjoy a feast, served the Norwegian way – fresh, juicy and irresistible! The portions are generous, so no one will leave the table hungry. Transfer to Snowhotel with arrival 17.15.

Activity: Visit Kirkenes Snowhotel incl. dinner

The rooms are build of snow and there is an average temperature of -4 C inside. You get a local dinner in the restaurant (warm part of the hotel)

DAY 3

Breakfast and check out

*the sequence of activities may change. The programme can be turned around with Kirkenes first and stay in Inari.
