Visit Inari has been granted again the Green Key -certificate for our accommodations, and the Green Activities -certificate for our activity services.

It’s been four years since we joined the program. In that time, we’ve worked to support our local community by sponsoring events and clubs, and providing year-round work opportunities for our team.

On the environmental side, we’ve made energy-saving renovations, including installing new windows and refurbishing our cabins. At our husky farm, we are committed to maintaining the high standards of animal welfare through regular vet checks, careful regulation of each dog’s workload, and ensuring 24/7 staff presence to guarantee well-being of our dogs.

To reduce our environmental impact, in addition to optimizing our logistics, we offer and encourage visitors to participate in non-motorized activities like skiing, hiking, biking, and canoeing, allowing our guests to experience the nature even more intimately. We are especially proud of keeping our electric-hybrid catamaran sailing for 14 years.

We continue to focus on reducing waste, enhancing recycling efforts, improving our carbon tracking, and promoting year-round tourism. Moving forward, we aim to be more transparent and improve communication on these efforts. As we learn and grow, we acknowledge the challenges within the tourism industry and strive to play an active role in addressing these issues.
