DAY 1 | ARRIVAL & AURORA INFO
Transfer from Ivalo airport to Inari Village. Upon check in to Hotel Inari you will receive your winter outdoor clothing and vouchers for the Siida Sami Museum.

Before or after dinner learn more about the Northern Lights and the nature of Inari area. Our guide will take you through the eight seasons of Lapland while presenting you beautiful pictures of the Aurora and the Arctic nature. You will learn why Northern Lights appear and what life is like in the Arctic region. You will also learn which sites to use for aurora forecasts and learn a bit about the camera settings for Aurora photographing.
Day 2 | SAMI CULTURE & AURORA SNOWMOBILING
Inari is known for its beautiful location and offers many hiking trails for its visitors on the lake, or along the Juutua river. The strong Sami culture gives the place a unique atmosphere which can be felt even if it is not always visible.
Visit to Sami Museum Siida
Make your first contact with Sami culture at Siida, the Sami Museum. Explore the museum independently in more depth and browse the delightful gift shop, which is full of interesting books and Sami handicrafts.
This activity starts at and last for 2,5-3 hours
Aurora Snowmobile Expedition
Your snowmobile tour starts in the evening and offers you the best conditions to see the Northern Lights. Take your best luck with you and our professional guide will take care of the rest!

DAY 3 | REINDEER AND SNOWSHOEING
Traditional Reindeer Sleigh ride
Take a step back in time as you sit in a wooden sleigh gently pulled by a reindeer. Listen to the silence of the snowy forest and experience the old traditional Sami way of travelling. There will be a chance to warm up by the fire with hot juice before being transferred back to your accommodation.

Snowshoe hike into the land of Northern Lights
Snowshoeing is probably the most peaceful way to go in search of the dancing auroras. You will hike with your guide into the quiet darkness of the forest. The feeling of witnessing the magical lights in the peaceful arms of nature is one that will stay with you forever. If the northern lights don’t show up, this is an atmospheric experience nonetheless. And if hiking doesn’t keep you warm, some hot juice will.

Day 4 | HUSKIES
In the morning, we will drive youto the husky farm for your next adventure. Help the musher prepare the team of huskies for the ride of your life. Dog sledding is a truly unique and exhilarating unique way to experience the beauty and silence of arctic nature.

Day 5 | AURORA HUNTING
Aurora hunting by car
When hunting for those unpredictable Northern Lights, it helps to be able to travel bigger distances in search of clear skies on cloudy days. Our guide checks the forecast to see which direction the clouds are moving in and knows the places where it is safe to stop and check the sky. The rest is down to luck.

Day 6 | AURORA VIEWING FROM LAKE INARI MOBILE CABIN
During the day you can borrow our snowshoes or cross country skis and explore Inari independently, or ask our safari office for additional activities.
In the evening we will transfer you to your mobile cabin, where you will overnight hopefully viewing the amazing aurora.
Day 7| DEPARTURE
Time for you to leave Inari, but be warned that Inari will probably always remain in your heart. Accommodation check-out and return transfer to Ivalo airport.
